59 was invited once again to work with David Hockney to collaborate on a work as part of his major new exhibition at the Fondation Louis Vuitton, Paris. 59 was invited to adapt the section ‘David Hockney Paints the Stage’ from the Lightroom show ‘David Hockney, Bigger and Closer not Smaller and Further Away’ for Gallery 10 at the Fondation. Combining Hockney’s original set designs for a wide variety of Opera with animation, archival materials and audio, visitors are immersed in this musical and visual piece inside the Fondation’s most monumental exhibition space.
The exhibition opened on 9th April 2025 and runs until 31st August 2025.
