Interior video design for one of Hong Kong’s latest architectural feats.
Completed in 2024, The Henderson Building is one of Hong Kong’s latest skyscraper buildings. The 41-storey tower was designed by Zaha Hadid Architects and has already become an iconic landmark with its distinct curved exterior inspired by Hong Kong’s national flower, the Bauhinia flower.
59 Studio designed and produced digital artworks for the interior screens across the building. Injecting movement into traditionally static architectural spaces, our content adds a layer of visual intrigue as visitors navigate the space.
Our design work is situated across three lobby spaces, elevator waiting areas and elevator pods. Most notable are the screens located within the main grand banquet hall, which can be found at the top of the 190-metre building.
With screens stretching up to 15 metres in length, we enjoyed designing material that was cohesive across screen sizes and locations as well as remaining playful and within the aesthetic of the building. The screen content can be adapted to fit the seasonal and event needs of The Henderson.
